Iron Legion is a pixel-art lane auto-battler: draft soldiers from a rotating shop, merge three copies into higher stars, line up trait synergies, and watch your legion hold the gate against an endless orc horde — elites every 5 waves, bosses every 10.
Sixteen unit types across five cost tiers each carry a signature skill: the Sniper executes the beefiest target, the Saintess grants invulnerability, the War Golem stomps and stacks armor, the General's war-cry buffs the entire army. Six trait synergies (Infantry, Rangers, Powder, Faith, Mech, Royal) reward focused drafting, and boss-drop relics turn every run into a different build.
The economy is the real battlefield: bank gold for interest, protect win streaks, decide between rolling the shop, buying XP for a bigger army, or saving up. One greedy roll can cost you the campaign.
How to play
- Buy units from the shop between waves — 3 identical copies auto-merge into a stronger star (max 3★).
- Trigger synergies: fielding 2+ different units of one trait unlocks bonuses; more copies, stronger tier.
- Manage gold: +1 interest per 10 banked (cap 5), win-streak bonuses, XP raises your unit cap.
- Fight is fully automatic — melee tanks the front, ranged and casters work behind, skills fire when mana fills.
- Don't leak: every orc that reaches the gate costs 1 base HP. At 0 HP the run ends and your wave count hits the board.
